Lorraine’s latest book reminds me of all the family-style meals cooked by my wonderful Aunt when I spent Summers in South Florida. Sunday’s Suppers profundity of recipes are easy and accessible to follow and yet create elegant, sophisticated dishes. I plan to purchase several copies of this book as it will make a very generous gift to friends and family. The recipes in this book certainly saved our suppers. We now eat with more gusto and less boredom. The Wallace’s have turned our evening meals into culinary delights. Our favorites recipes are ” Meatloaf with Herb Gravy, – Chicken with Dumplings,- Buttermilk’ not fried ‘ Chicken, Roasted Brussel Sprouts, Eggplant Parmesan Rolls, Pork Chops with Glazed Sweet Onions, Salmon Burgers with Lemon Herb Sauce, and Stuffed Zucchini. ” The preparation and cooking directions are easy to follow. The book also includes beautiful photos of soups, salads, entrees, and desserts, table settings and an index that makes finding whatever you want so simple. Well written and presented. Highly recommended for all who enjoy cooking and watching our families eat and enjoy what we have prepared. Thank you Mr and Mrs Wallace. Keep cooking and writing. I have all three books. Kudos!…

The recipes are a bit much for what I was expecting. Shipping and Ordering was easy and on time. I think I just need to stick to simpler recipes. I would say this is for a guru in the kitchen or for someone who really likes to cook. I think I was wishful thinking. I am sure the recipes are great. Just a little too fancy for my cooking skill level….
